Participation on the project Tearing down the myths about socialism and welfare state
As part of the project of the Conservative Institute - Tearing down the myths about socialism and welfare state, we published two texts. The first text concentrates on key myths about socialist health care. What we say in it is that in people's memory, socialist health care is linked primarily to three concepts, free, accessible and better care. Subsequently, we refuse these myths.
The second text concerns the welfare state and we evaluate the health care system in Slovakia in the context of the concept of the welfare state. Slovakia is a democratic, capitalist country with a relatively high level of prosperity. In this context, the question is not whether Slovakia is a modern welfare state. It certainly is. A more interesting question is how he manages its well-being .
