Slovak Healthcare Conference 2022

On September 29, 2022, the Slovak Health Care 2022 conference was held in Bratislava under the auspices of Zdravotnícky noviny.  Peter Pažitný took part in the debate, which was dominated by the topic of financial resources in the health sector.

Slovak health care is facing a fatal lack of resources (up to EUR 1,000 million), and the Ministry of Health wants to "stick it up" by limiting the profit of health insurance companies, which will bring 20-30 million. EUR. And it devotes enormous energy to it. At the same time, for its own proposal to increase the payment of state insured persons by 650 mil. EUR, the ministry is not fighting at all, and the Ministry of Finance deleted the entire payment increase. What's next? Even less music for less money.
