Strategy of using artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare

Pažitný & Kandilaki has been a subcontractor of PriceWaterhouseCooper (PWC) in the project "Strategy for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare" since September 2020. The project is supported by the EU (DG REFORM) and its main beneficiary is the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic. The project consists of two parts - (1) Strategy and (2) Fraud detection. In the area of strategy definition, the project is divided into three basic phases. The first phase is an overview of best practices in the implementation of AI tools and methods in healthcare. The second phase evaluates the level of readiness for the introduction of AI in the Slovak healthcare system. The third phase is to define the conditions and plan for the implementation of best practices in the implementation of AI. The project is expected to end in the autumn of 2021.
